I hope you've all had a great Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year. Some of you will have noticed the counters and maps at the foot of the blog. Christmas and New Year

On Christmas Day, most of our family comes over to my house for Christmas Dinner. I help my mother cook the food and help out around the house. I open all my presents later in the day, after we have all eaten. I meet some of my friends and spend a few hours with them in the morning.
I often spend New Year at my friends house. Her parents invites a few people over every year. Everyone plays games in the hours before New Years Day and we have the bagpipes playing as the clock chimes the new year.

Christmas in Perth

On Christmas day we wake up early and open our presents from our stockings and from under the Christmas tree. We have our Christmas dinner at lunch time. We eat turkey and vegetables and sausages for main course and Christmas pudding for dessert. Then in the afternoon, my family goes out and has a walk. It is good because we live in the countryside.

For new year, we usually go to a party of some sort. This year, we are going to Edinburgh with some friends to watch the fireworks. On new years day, I am going to my friends house for a party.

Hola!!

Dentro poco es Navidad.
El día 24 de diciembre, celebramos "nochebuena", llega Papá Noel. El día 25 celebramos el día de "Navidad".
El día 31 es el día llamado "Noche Vieja" y el día 1 de enero es "Año nuevo" . Más tarde, el día 6 de enero, es el día de los Reyes Magos.
Es una celebración de familia y amigos. Nos reunimos a cenar y a comer.
Las calles se llenan de luces de colores. En nuestras casas, ponemos el árbol de Navidad con adornos, y el belén con figuras. En Noche Vieja, 12 segundos antes de las 12, comemos 12 uvas. Es divertido.
En la cena no faltan los mazapanes, aunque a mi no me gustan jeje, tampoco falta el turrón.
No se qué más contaros. Cómo la celebráis en Perth??
