My class!!
Task 1 - I want you to read Esther's post about Christmas in Palencia. Find the Spanish words for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Hogmanay, New Year's Day and Epiphany. What does she say about the streets? (vocabulary: calles = streets, llenarse = to fill up) What do Spanish people put in their homes? What do they eat in the first 12 seconds of the New Year?
Task 2 - Read the comments to my post in Spanish. Why is Christmas Day doubly special for Sergio? How long are the Christmas holidays in Spain? (David tells you) Irene, the teacher in Palencia, gives some more details. When are presents given in her family? What does she say about the cavalcade parade?

Hi Mr Fraser! Do you want us to answer the questions by leaving a comment on this post or do it on a piece of paper and hand it in next term?
Katy
do it on paper and hand in...as once one person posts answers, no-one else has to think!
